TEST HELP PLEASE!! WILL GIVE MEDAL TO BEST ANSWER!! 1 When the air under the envelope is heated, the balloon lifts. Which of the following statements is true. a. Hot air balloons use radiation to rise b. Hot air balloons use conduction to rise c. hot air balloons use convection to rise d. hot air balloons use air resistance to rise Is the answer answer C?
I'm pretty positive hot air balloons use convection to rise
It's radiation ^_^ think about it, to rise, a hot balloon uses the burner "fire, fuel" to rise, which in this case is radiation ^_^
@austinL 2.Darell conducted an experiment with the following procedure: .Fill two cups with ice water .Place an uninflated balloon snugly onto your left index finger .Blow a little air into and identical balloon, and place it onto your right index finger. .Place both fingers into the cups of water Darell notices that his right finger felt warmer int he ice water then did his left finger Which of the following does he experiment show a. air is a good radiator of heat b. air is a good insulator of heat c. air is a good conductor of heat d. air is a good convector of heat Is the answer, answer B?
Hot-air balloons use convection in order to rise into the air. The air inside the balloon is heated. As the hot air rises, so does the balloon. u were right about the first one being C ^_^
@charlotte123 Can you help with the one above ^^
of course :D
I would say that it is indeed insulation. :)
wait.... this is a test? We aren't supposed to help with tests. Disregard my previous answer.....
yes the socond one is B if you think, air is what is inside the balloon which is inslating*
rn't insulators for electricity uses? owo
oops never mind XD
Insulation can be many things for many purposes. The plastic coating on the outside of wires is insulation, however your home likely has fiberglass heating insulation. An insulator is anything that basically keeps things contained, but this is a very rough definition.
thanks austin XD moment of confusion >.>
3.Three metal spoons are on a table. They are each at room temperature. If three spoons touch, a. heat will flow among all three spoons b. heat will flow between two spoons c. no heat will flow among the spoons d. heat will flow from the spoons to the air I think the answer is Answer C
This is a TEST? If so, the time for getting answers from others would seem to be over.
looks like a test >.>
This isn't getting answers, I'm having people check my answers for me!
I'm not asking for answers...I just want people to check my answers
It says "TEST HELP PLEASE!!" And even then, we shouldn't be helping. I just provided clarification on an idea.
To say if it is right or wrong
It is still not ethical.
I'm not asking for answers at All!!!!!!!!!!! I just want someone to say if it is right or wrong.
the 3 one it's c
Uhhh not saying i care but I'm pretty sure seeing if a question is right or wrong is the same as asking for answers, which is cheating....
