I believe the answer your looking for is 8 x 6. Cause to find the area you must multiply length x width to equal that. So I believe it would be 48^2. The triangle is a whole other story.

But if the your length is in the middle it would be 4 x 6 and 4 x 6 for both halves of the rectangle. But even so that would still equal 48^2.
