Help please :) Which of the following does not represent the set of even integers from 2 to 14? a) {2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14} b) {2, 4, 6 ...} c) {2, 4, 6 ... 12, 14} d) {even integers from 2 to 14}

OpenStudy (133):

The answer is A.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks :)

OpenStudy (133):

No prob.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b

OpenStudy (ranga):

Why is a) NOT representing the set of even integers from 2 to 14?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep its b not a

OpenStudy (ranga):

^^^ yep.

OpenStudy (ranga):

a, c and d ALL represent the set of even integers from 2 to 14. The one that does not is b because 2, 4, 6 .... means all even integers - not just even integers till 14.
