I really need someone who will help me understand these. I'm trying to understand it, but I think I need another perspective.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

area and volume for complex shapes -compare and contrast lateral and surface area -real world examples of 3D polyhedral -surface area and volume of 3D polyhedron -composite figures surface area and volume calculations -compare and contrast regular and irregular polyhedron -how “change in dimension” effects surface area and volume

OpenStudy (amistre64):

lateral means side .... tends to ignore any top and bottom surfaces surface means the wh0le thing, lateral + top and bottom

OpenStudy (amistre64):

composites figures tend to be constructed from simpler parts ... if you can determine the simpler parts, then the composite is the total sum of the simpler parts

OpenStudy (amistre64):

regular shapes have straight uniform edges/surfaces .... irregular shapes look like a deformed regular shape. |dw:1383846407941:dw|
