Firefox add-on development help needed using the bootstrap method...

I created a Firefox add-on using the bootstrap method and well I would like to make a blacklist option so that the add-on only runs on sites that are not blacklisted. Since the add-on is using the bootstrap method it is restartless this is my first time actually using the bootstrap method so I tried using an older method but it seems that it does not work. I did some searching and found a method to block the add-on running on pinned tabs but that doesn't seem to really solve my problem... So does anyone have a way to do this, or is my add-on incapable of doing this since it is using the bootstrap method.
