If m = s and s = w, which statement is true? A. m > w B. m = w C. m < w D. m + s = w
what do you think
Have you been taught the transitive property of equality @Lillian~<3 ?
Last time i Chose D & No
$$\huge\text{Transitive Property of Equality}$$ $$\huge\text{For all real numbers a, b, and c,}$$ $$\huge\text{If a= b and b=c,}$$ $$\huge\text{then a=c.}$$
Its just Really hard for me to understand
what does a=b mean to you?
Nothing really...
It means the number you replace a with is the same as the number you replace b with, that is why a=b
= means same value or same number
4 + 2 = 6 because I can replace 4 + 2 with 6 and get the true statement 6 = 6
@Lillian~<3 are you still there?
Yea I'm just trying to read it over & Over to understand it
Let's say today's temperature is 20 degrees and I label it a, so a=20, right?
yea
Now, let's say tomorrow's temperature is also 20 degrees and I label it b, so now b=20, OK so far?
Mhm
Obviously, a=b since 20=20, right?
yep
Finally, let's say the day after is also 20 degrees which I label as c and can say c=20.
umm i still don't know the Answer to the question i ask & I only have a little bit of time left
If a=b and b=c, then a=c.
I'm gonna fail again..
If m = s and s = w, then m=?
