High-temperatures combustion has been used to safely dispose of some toxic industrial compounds. Why is mercury not “destroy” when coal containing mercury impurities is burned?

OpenStudy (asib1214):

i'll just answer my own question....... nothing can be destroyed.... when you burn coal, mercury evaporates into the atmosphere and when it precipitate mercury come back to the ground and water insects and sea creatures eat em... which can cause good poisoning .
