To buy concert tickets there is a service charge and a cost per ticket. Write an equation to show the cost for any number of tickets. x y Number of Tickets Cost in Dollars 1 22 2 40 3 58 4 76 A. y = 22x B. y = 18x + 4 C. y = 18x D. y = 4x + 18

Here's the equation. Ticketmaster = evil

so you have 4 equations that could be right. the easiest thing would be to test each equation with the numbers given 1 tickets = $22 2 tickets = $40 3 tickets = $58 4 tickets = $76 now if tickets = x and y = price which equation fits these numbers to make each true?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first off you can see that these are not a straight price for a ticket so the equations a and c would not work since one ticket to two tickets isnt double the price. so it must be b) or d). just put in the numbers and you will have your answer

it would be B
