Does anyone no about Quotients of Rational Expressions ????? PLEASE HELP!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x^2+3x+2/6 divided by x+2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First factor x^2 + 3x + 2. I will wait till you do that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because you would simplify the x's so it would be x+x+3+x+2 cancel what matches then you would have 3+x+2 so you would multiply the 3 and the 2 so wouldn't it leave you with 6x?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i might be able to help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im still trying to figure it out... Idk what to do nest after that step?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is to hard

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now factor x^2 + 3x + 2, like I originally suggested. Then cancel. And you'll be done.
