Change 290 degrees to radian measure in terms of pi.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To convert degrees degrees to radians, multiply the number of degrees by pi/180, and then simplify if you want.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

easy, that is rads to deg

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ehuman Multiply degrees by pi/180.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

doh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

getting coffee, lol brb, listen to easy

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i.e. divide 290 by 180, reduce, and stick a \(\pi\) next to it

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Example...to change 30 degrees to radian measure, multiply 30 by pi/180 30 x pi/180 = pi/6 (as the 30 and 180 cancel)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1.6 rad.
