Find the height of a right circular cone whose radius is 5 cm and volume is 100π cm3.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Volume of a cone = (1/3) Bh, where B = area of the base and h = height of the cone. So substitute into the equation 100 pi for the volume, V, and find the height. Make sure you compute B, the area of the base, wich is a circle of radius 5.
