It would be nice for Openstudy to have it's own calculator located at the bottom of every thread, next to drawing and attach file.

I supported this statement in the chat. It'd be far more convenient if we had a simple built in calculator capable of basic arithmetic so I don't have to jump back and forth between a bunch of different calculators.

Of course stability is always an issue and I imagine with OS having trouble maintaining the current features, why would they throw in something new before clearing that up?

i know we still can pull up calculator from our computer, but OS is a study site and in my opinion, having a calculator is required :)

what if it's a link? like if u click on this calculator, a small link appears. Will it still slow openstudy?

I don't know how half the stuff is implemented here. I imagine the stuff slowing the servers down is the massive amount of file uploading and drawboard usage.

I don't think it'd be horribly slow I just think we should focus on the site lags etc. before seeing new features

Good idea. It would help a lot! I think they should make a scientific calculator to help with trigonometric equations and such.

The standard calculator looked descent but the scientific calculator didn't look good. Maybe i should've tried making the owl look more larger not more wider.
