A small fish is dropped by a pelican that is rising steadily at 0.50m/s . After 2.5s what is the velocity of the fish ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Please please help

OpenStudy (rajat97):

use the kinematical equation v=u+at here u=initial velocity=0.5 a=acceleration due to gravity=-10(approx) and t=time=2.5 so you may get the answer near -24.5m/s

OpenStudy (shamim):

2.5 m/ s

OpenStudy (shamim):

it has no acceleration

OpenStudy (rajat97):

@shamim its doin free fall under gravity according to me
