Read Emily wingspaninson's poem to answer the questions. "My life closed twice before its close- It yet remains to see If Immortality unveil A third event to me So huge-so hopeless to conceive As these that twice befell. parting is all we know of heaven- And all we need of hell. The alliteration used with the words________contributes to the______.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. "huge and hopeless" / rhythm of the poem B. "see and me" / distinct rhyme scheme of the poem C. "befell and hell" / mournful tone of the poem D. "Immortality and Parting" / unusual structure of the poem

c/d but id go more with c..

Actually, this would be "A," because alliteration means words that start with the same sound or letter. Like "Huge and Hopeless." Does that make sense, @studygeek15?
