You should always offer an explanation after your call to action so the reader does not feel ___________________.

OpenStudy (haileyd):

wouldn't it just be so the reader doesn't feel lost or confused on what they're trying to read??

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

I think the answer should be that the reader does not feel confused about the author's opinion or mission. In a persuasive essay, the author is trying to urge the reader to do something or to think a certain way. In the essay, it states its reasons for why it feels the way it does. "Call to action" is another way of saying that the author sums up all the reasons in a final statement. This statement is the author's last shot at trying to get the point across.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Confused.
