You want to make a decision from 3 choices based on the outcome of the roll of a fair die. If the outcome is 1 or 2, you will pick choice A. If the outcome is 3 or 4, you will pick choice B. Otherwise, you will pick choice C. Is this a fair way to make a decision? True False Im getting false

is false the correct answer?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

What makes you think it's false? If the outcome is 1 or 2, you will pick choice A (2/6 chance) . If the outcome is 3 or 4, you will pick choice B (2/6 chance) . Otherwise, you will pick choice C... this leaves 5 or 6... (2/6 chance).
