Why were European nations less prosperous than the United States after World War I?
Europeans did not have the technological know-how Americans had.
Americans worked harder and were willing to work longer hours.
Americans discovered great mineral wealth in California and Colorado.
Europeans were struggling to recover from the devastation of World War I

hey @Skiller8860 u want to help me with this and @Zale101
OpenStudy (zale101):
Because Euprope were so into the war, they participated more in WW1 more than the United States. This caused a big disaster on their crops, because i think it was being neglecting because many Europeans focused on the war other than harvesting. They ended up purchasing food from the US. Because the US didn't spend too much of their money in WW1 but they did in WW2 which lead them into a big recession called the great depression.
