Factor completely: 3x^2-25x-18
well here is a method that works all the time for factoring difficult quadratics in the form \[ax^2+ bx + c\] multiply a and c so in your question its 3 and -18 = -54 find the factors of -54 that add to -25... the larger factor is negative then its (ax + factor 1)(ax + factor 2) -------------------------- a look to remove common factors from the binomial... they will cancel with the denominator. what's left is the factored form... hope this helps
or you can wait and someone will give you the answer
(x-9)(3x+2)
see... there you go... no need to worry about learning... when people give solutions...
I did this myself with people example and I want to know if I am right x^2-3x+2 = (x-2)(x-1)
