Use your data (attachment) from Part 3 and Newton’s laws to explain why the force meter measures a force if the cart is moving at a constant velocity. You should cover the following points. State Newton’s first law. • Identify the forces acting on the cart. • Describe the relationships between applied force and mass and between applied force and weight as linear (from data or mathematical derivation by applying Newton’s first law). • Explain why the data are linear in terms of Newton’s first law. • Graph F versus mass + cart.

could you save it as something other than a .docx? My computer isn't fond of them...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^_^ thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What would you prefer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Does this attachment work?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it just 1 table?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, the table shows the g,kg,weight, and constant velocity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the constant velocity or the force? The last column on the one I got is Force...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry I meant force

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cool cool, just making sure ^_^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha so do you think you can help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is there a diagram that shows what the experiment was? (was that in the docx file?)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No,I did the experiment myself. Basically, I put weight in the cart and pulled it at a constant velocity with a scale

OpenStudy (anonymous):

with a little spring scale type thing? |dw:1384092209291:dw|
