OpenStudy (megannicole51):

does the series converge or diverge? sin(1/n^2) n=1 to infinity

OpenStudy (megannicole51):

i know 1/n^2 converges but thats all i got lol

OpenStudy (megannicole51):

@Easyaspi314

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well it is a lot ! think of the comparison test. another big hint : sin(x) <= x for 0<=x<=1

OpenStudy (megannicole51):

hey sorry i had to go to work...go ahead:) @Coolsector

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hey well according to the hint if (1/n^2) is between 0 and 1 (and it is because n goes from 1 to inf) we have sin(1/n^2) < (1/n^2)

OpenStudy (megannicole51):

okayy

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so done .. cause it is for every term so according to the comparison test ..

OpenStudy (megannicole51):

it converges correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (megannicole51):

beautiful thank you:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yw:)
