I have to write an essay as home work, but I need ideas of how to start my second paragraph ( first reason) using F.I.R.E (fact ,incident ,reason, and example). Here's my introductory paragraph and my first reason is how my grandfather taught me how to swim.

“Blessed by the ties that bind generations”. In our lifetime we can come across a person who may change our view of life. You may know them closely because they are family or someone who has been there for you through rough patches. They might have taught you how to take your first steps, swim, ride a bike, and maybe taught you educational lessons. Being with you since the day you were born can impact you in a way you can’t understand. My grandfather has been like a second father to me. Teaching me the basics and fun of life that I should always enjoy. No matter who you care about most you will love them no matter what.

I mean that what you wrote already is factual to you but may not apply to everyone. So if the  teacher said you could do it on any subject (ex. family members...) then the above paragraph is factual to you. You're next paragraph has to give an example in relation to the first paragraph (what incident in your life stands out the most that you feel this way)
