The student packed a lunch to take the school, carefully sprinkled a little salt on some celery sticks. What would be their condition at lunchtime

By lunchtime the celery sticks would loose their turgor pressure (the water pressure inside the cell) because the salt would suck the water out of the cell which would lead to the celery being flimsy/loose all of its stiffness by lunch.
