Could someone help me by giving an idea to answer this question please? If you could take one piece of military technology into the past, what would you take, who would you give it to, and how would it have impacted historical events?
Take the iPhone 5S to a young Steve Jobs, Tell him he was the mastermind behind this. Then we'd Have better Technology Today, And tell him he'd die in 2011 of Cancer.
We would have better Technology Today, and Steve Jobs might still be alive. Hope this is helpful.
Or someone might want to give modern Weapons to the Original thirteen American Colonies.
Personally I wouldn't... Hope this is helpful!
@bookworm00981 Thank you for your response, but it's not exactly what I am looking for. It's my fault that I didn't make this clear, but I need to choose something under military technology, rather than the electronic technology we have today.
Maybe someone wanted to give A Tank to George Washington. BAttles would have been won faster. And history would have changed.
Like that?
We definitely wouldn't give them nuclear technology. :O or we probably wouldn't be alive right now.
Personally, I think knowledge can be a weapon. But you clearly mean physical things, so perhaps satellites or space ships. At this particular moment in time, space technology may be one of the more important aspects of our future. Imagine if we had come up with these things a couple of centuries ago, we'd probably be living in a more technologically advanced world.
Halorazer! Your a girl!
No, I'm a dude. That is my girlfriend on the right. :3
Ah.
I was confused.
@halorazer You are correct, but I don't believe that space ships and such would have an impact on historical events.
Well that would have placed the space age prematurely.
On historical events or on the development of mankind? O.o
Historically
Having better reconnaissance (using satellites) could help in any war.
