The cost function to produce x brushes is given by c(x)=-10x^2+250x. The demand is given by p= -x^2-3x+299, where p is price in dollars. Find and simplify profit function.

I got p(x)= x^3-13x^2+49x. However, when I'm doing the rest of the problem that asks to find the number of brushes that will produce the maximum profit, I get weird critical numbers and things just don't look right.
