Which choice is the equation of a line that passes through the point (–6, –2) and is perpendicular to the line represented by this equation? y = −3x + 1 A. 3x + y = 1 B. y = 1/3x C. y = −3x D. −3y = −x + 1 isn't the answer to this B, since the negative reciprocal of -3x is 1/3?
