Write the ratio given as a simplified ratio. A cement mixture calls for 150 pounds of cement for 5 gallons of water. What is the ratio of cement to water?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It says right in the problem, 150 pounds of cement for 5 gallons of water. So that is 150: 5 or 30:1 if you divide both numbers by 5. So 30:1 means that there is 30 pounds of cement for each gallon of water.
