Well I guess an academic practical problem could be a lot of things. I guess it could be laziness, procrastination, or more likely just having problems in general understanding a certain class or something like that. Like I said, I guess. I have no definitive clue but it's better than nothing.

A military recruiter is someone that, on the behalf of the military, attempts to recruit people. The recruiter would play a role by offering Carrie the option to join the military after she gets out of high school. I don't know if that answers your question?
