OpenStudy (shamil98):

Determine the equations of the asymptotes: g(x) = (3x^2-12)/(x+4)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To find vertical asymptotes, factor the denominator, set factors equal to zero and solve. If these factors occur only in the denominator, they are vertical asymptotes. The horizontal asymptote is at y = 0 if the degree of the numerator is smaller than the degree of the denominator. If the degree of the numerator equals the degree of the denominator, then the horizontal asymptote is at y = leading coefficient on top/ leading coefficient on bottom.

OpenStudy (shamil98):

Oh, it's just asking to find the asymptotes.

OpenStudy (shamil98):

nvm, then.. lol.
