There are four kinda of road signs in a certain town. The number of signs and types are: 10 stop signs. 3 rail road signs. 2 yield signs. 9 school signs. What is the ratio of the number of school signs to the number of stop signs? A) 9 to 10 B) 10:9 C) 10/24 D) 9:24

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just divided the number of the school signs on number of stop signs ;) means : the number of the school signs/number of stop signs=the answer :)

Kay, Thanks .x3.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

got it ?:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, kinda?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

means : 9/10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

caz we had : school signs = 9 number of stop signs = 10 so : school signs(9)/number of stop signs(10) we cant say the words ! so have : 9/10 just this :)

never thing this ! Look at this example : we have 15 students in a class . 5 number of them are girls and 10 number of them are boys . What is the ratio of the number of boys to the number of all? boys = 10 all = 15 boy/all = 10/15
