Just draw the two molecules together. Acetic acid is highly soluble in water. Basically, what happens is water abstracts the proton from acetic acid, So you get: $\sf \color{}{CH_3COO^- + H_3O^+}$

vinegar IS an organic compound already. They just stay there floating around as ions.
