Decide which part of the quadratic formula tells you whether the quadratic equation can be solved by factoring. −b b2 − 4ac 2a Use the part of the quadratic formula that you chose above and find its value given the following quadratic equation: 2x2 + 7x + 3 = 0

I don;t consider this question valid, because all parts tell you whether the equation can or cannot be factored. I'll try to help anyway.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

IF all it asked was to solve, I would have gave you the methods. All I can tell you know, is that it is factorable---> (2x+1)(x+3)

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

tell you now, not know.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thank for trying

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I just don't really get the question, what type of question is this?
