how can i compare and contrast langston hughes poem "dreams" to katy perry's "friework"

Can you post the poem?

Katy Perry's "Firework" is about having hope for the future, and being yourself and harnessing your dreams no matter how difficult life may get. The poem "Dreams" by Langston Hughes is very similar in meaning. He says in the poem "hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Katy Perry's song says something very similar, "You don't have to feel, like a wasted space, you're original, cannot be replaced. If you only knew, what the future holds, after a hurricane, comes a rainbow." Even though life may be like a hurricane of chaos and uncertainty, things will always get better if you hold a dream close to your heart.
