I do not understand this at all, whatso ever! Please help! Imagine you are a fountain designer and you need to know how different speed motors will affect the water’s projected height and time in the air. You have various motor speed options but need to choose the one that most closely meets the client’s height request of 690 feet. Your job is to determine which motor speed is the best choice. In all cases, you will use the projectile formula y = –16x2 + vx + s, with starting height of 0 (s = 0). whoa.. have u tried talking to ur teacher about extra help? thats what i do when im stuck
I have tried, and I have only come up with theses equations, Motor A y= -16x^2 + 190x Motor B y= -16x^2 + 210x Motor C y= -16x^2 + 230x but in the problem it says that I need 3 for each motor and I am just so confused.
Well I suck at Algebra so I cant help but my best advice is to reread your text book, lesson, etc. and take notes carefully. Keep reviewing until you get it and if you dont well honest of luck to you. I myself dont understand algebra and i find it pointless tbh.
Somehow I will figure it out.. or just get a partial grade for it. Lol, but thanks anyway! I too believe that algebra is pointless!
