Simplify the following expression: 2x - 2y + 5z - 2x - y + 3z x - 3y + 8z 2x - 2y + 8z 3y + 8z -3y + 8z

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

combine like terms

So it's A ?

@ivettef365

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

first combine the x's then the y's then the z's x's you have 2x - 2x (I don't see anything else with x so 2-2 = 0 so 0 x's that mean no x's, answer A shows x which is one x that is not correct.

So C ?

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

you are guessing, try solving it you have y's -2y - y that means -2-1 = ??

Ok I really think it is D. Sorry i'm really bad at these

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya, D is what I get also ^_^
