OpenStudy (blackops2luvr):

how do you figure length when you have the calculations for distance and height?

OpenStudy (blackops2luvr):

@SolomonZelman

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Lenght= Area/ Width

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Can you ask a more specific question?

OpenStudy (abb0t):

distance, D, = \(\sf \color{}{ \sqrt{ (\Delta x)+ (\Delta y)}}\)

OpenStudy (abb0t):

Sorry it's: \(\sf \color{}{ \sqrt{ (\Delta x)^2+ (\Delta y)^2}}\)

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

Are you talking about the problem earlier with the building... where it gives you two sides? One leg of the triangle was 15... and the other leg was 5... and it asks for the ramp... which is the hypotenuse... where I also suggested you use pythagorean theorem?

OpenStudy (blackops2luvr):

we have the distance and the height but how do you find the length

OpenStudy (abb0t):

length of what? triangle? cube? rectangle? sqauare?

OpenStudy (blackops2luvr):

hold on

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

@blackops2luvr we are not here to do your work. Just as I did in the other thread... I offered you the formula... and asked you to plug it in.. and show me. I will not stand by and plug in everything for you. I do not understand why you opened a new question... @abb0t it is Pythagorean Theorem this is an older question.
