find csc(2pi/3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

csc (2pi/3) = 1/sin(2pi/3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sin (2pi/3) = sqrt(3)/2 from unit circle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 1/(sqrt(3)/2)) = 2/sqrt(3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

csc is basically 1/sin so you would basically find sin of 2pi/3 and flip it...so your answer would be 1/-1/2 and u mult by the reciprical to get -2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or 2sqrt(3)/(3) if you rationalize denominator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ozzman77 sin (2pi/3) = sqrt(3)/2...not 1/2 or -1/2 2pi/3 is a second quadrant angle where sin and csc are positive

OpenStudy (anonymous):

opps I looked at the cos...either way the explenation is the same jst use the sqrt(3)/2 srry bout that and @Easyaspi314 thanks for catching that
