a = 1 b = 4 start by finding f(a) and f(b)
f(a)-f(b)/b-a= 0.15625 I think
nope, wolfram says f(b) - f(a) / b-a = 1/8 http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=given+f%28x%29%3D9x%2F%288x%2B16%29+%2C+find++%28f%284%29-f%281%29%29%2F%284-1%29+
find f'(x) also and set it equal to 1/8 and solve
Thanks
