simplify 2 sinx cos^3 x + 2 sin^3 x cos x help :(

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Have you considered factoring out 2sin(x)cos(x) from each term?

OpenStudy (yttrium):

Yeah. Factor out 2sin(x)cox(x). Hence we'll have 2sin(x)cos(x) [cos^2(x) + sin^2(x)] Can you do the next process now? @shorouq91

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2sin(x)cos^3(x)+2sin^3(x)cos(x) = 2sin(x)cos(x) {(sin^2(x)+cos^2(x)} = sin2x Since 2sin(x)cos(x) = sin2x & sin^2(x)+cos^2(x) = 1

Correct
