what are the zeros of the function? what are the multiplicities?
(fx)=5x^3-5x^2-30

The numbers 3,-2, and 0 are zeroes of multiplicity 1
the numbers 3,-2, and 0 are zeroes of multiplicity 2.
The number -3,2, and 0 are zeroes of multiplicity 1
The number -3,2, and 0 are zeroes of multiplicity 2

That makes it so much easier!
You can pull out a 5x and then treat it like a quadratic.
\[5x(x^2 - x - 6\]
