Hey guys! I wrote a song on suicide because about a week or two ago, it was suicide awareness week at my school and I wanted to dedicate this song to everyone who has ever been bullied or hurt in some way. You are loved so don't ever give up hope.
I wrote this song as the perspective of a kid who is done with life because of all the pain. Maybe it'll help others realize the affect bullying has on others and how much pain these people are in.

Why’s the world so cold?
Seems like everyone is in a race to see whose better
which of us are weak and who will survive this treachery
We target out the ones who can barely stand on their own two feet
but in reality, they’re the strongest of us all
They put up with it every day
Those of us who don’t belong
All anyone ever does is stand on the side-lines and watch someone drown
and if they really feel a little bit of sadness, they only walk away with a frown
What are we doing;
all of this madness and hate
This world is not what it should be
everything has changed
I watch the news every night
the terrors that take place in others’ lives
Is there anyone decent left out there?
Are we all so cold and without care?
Do we dare to take a stand and make a change
or will we just sit back while everything fades to grey?

from a voice that is ready to say goodbye
Life is meaningless, when all that exists is bitterness
I’ve never known love, I’ve only heard the word
Things will never change for me
I don’t know why…maybe I just don’t deserve to be treated decent or respectfully
So I’ll let one more tear roll down my cheek
as I watch from here and wait for a change
A change that could bring happiness and wash away the pain
I will never know if this will ever take place
I’m no longer willing to wait
So until that day comes, I’ll sing my final cry to the very depths of the grave

is a very awkwardly placed line. maybe it's not though, depends on the line within the context of the song, other than that I can dig it

Yeah, I agree. I couldn't decide rather to keep it or get rid of it but I felt like it needed to be in there...Hm, I will see if I there is a better way of wording it or a better place to put it.

Oh god, I have around 700 artists on my ipod. Uh, Aversions Crown, Intervals, Thy Art is Murder, Unearth, All Shall Perish, The Zenith Passage, Carnifex (I really only like seeing them live), Erra, The Last Ten Seconds of Life, Parkway Drive, Born Of Osiris, Whitechapel, The Acacia Strain, the list goes on from there lol

Yeah, that's awesome yo. I've been trying to get into more proggy stuff based around clean vocals and stuff since my band is trying to incorporate them, so I've been listening to Haken, yes, and pink Floyd and stuff like that lately.

No I dislike all three of them very much actually haha. It's just, I'm a musician so I like listening to bands that give me a challenge when I sit down and try to play, plus caleb shomo and the guys in AA start so much drama, AAS used to be a Christian band, and I don't like how they randomly changed and TDG I've just kinda grown out of. The fact that I've gotten to open up for bands like Erra, MyChildren MyBride, Face All Fears, Reflections, and Oceano kinda makes you realize the difference between those bands and the bands I listen to, that being said, I'd be lying if I said I didn't jam out to someday came suddenly and geeving when I was younger.

Sure did, that guitar player who was singing, his name is jesse, me and him are friends on facebook and stuff, he was the only guy in the band who talked to me and we hung out for a bit. But other thank that, I like mainstream stuff like what you listed sometimes, like here.
