WILL GIVE MEDAL TO BEST ANSWER The volume of a box can be found by multiplying the length times width times height of a box (V = lwh). If the volume of a box is 1,300 cubic inches, and all its dimensions are equal, what is the side length of the box in inches? 1. 10.9 2. 36.1 3. 162.5 4. 433.3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh thts simple.. Plug in the numbers you kno

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How do I do that? Sorry, I'm a little off of it today

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay the volume is 1300.. So the equation is V=lwh.. 1300=?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

10.9?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So tht means your length width and height would have to be 10.9.. Did you test it out? It'd be 10.9 x 10.9 x 10.9 = 1300.. Is tht what you got?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i tried it on my calculator and it turned out to be 1295.029

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So ten basically go thru all tthe numbers you have up there and see which one is the closest to 1300

OpenStudy (anonymous):

10.9, is the closest to 1,300.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then thts your answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But I gotta go.. So Bye :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you! :)
