Which graph does NOT represent a function?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The graphs are not clear! A function should be defined for all values of x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont know that all what the question gives me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are the points in graph connected by lines?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The second is right. For a x can only has one value of y.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In second picture, x is still 1, but y change form 1to 4.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You are welcome.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, for an x, only one value of y is possible. so, 3rd picture does not represent a function, not 2nd.
