In terms of sine and cosine: tanθ/secθ=sinθ

Break the tan into sin/cos and sec into 1/cos. you then have (sin/cos)(1/cos). to divide, you multiply by the reciprocal -> sin/cos * cos/1. You can cross cancel the cos, leaving sin/1, which is sin.
