What makes an event political? I'm filling in a chart with two political evens, two economic events and two social events from the 1980s. For the political events I chose the end of the Cold War and the fall of the Berlin Wall but I'm not sure how to explain what makes them political events.

po·lit·i·cal adjective 1. of or relating to the government or the public affairs of a country. Therefore literally anything relating to the government, or anything that has to do with the people inside of a country. (There are some exceptions, but those are pretty obvious.) The two you chose should be pretty good.
