Please Help! An architect needs to determine the slope between two points on a ski lift. The two points have been identified as (15, 35) and (195, 50), where x is the horizontal distance and y is the vertical distance from the bottom of the lift. Assuming the lift runs in a straight line, what is the slope of the line between the two points?

this would be easier if one point was the origin and the other was not. so lets move them. if you subtract 15 from each x component and 35 from each y then the two points are 0,0 and 180,15. now slope is rise over run which is y/x

So is it 180/15?
