Is there a quick way to factor this equation: 8t^2-14t-39 ?

Yeah but it's hard trying to find which numberes multiply to -39 but add to -14

and you have to take the 8 into account as well...

Okay well not all quadratics can be solveddd by factoring, there are two other methods for solving quadratic equations, which are completing the square and using thequadratic formula.
