What is the equation of a vertical line that has an x-intercept of -2 ? A. x = -2 B. y = -2 C. x + y = -2 D. y = x-2 i am thinking the answer is A.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you sure? D seemed like another answer, to me at least

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

x + y = -2 ----> y=-x-2 A is just a vertical line. B is just a horizontal line so it is D and C I'll ho with D. I meant D.

thank you! :)

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Anytime! I am sure it is D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im pretty sure it is actually A because x=# is a vertical line and the only time it hits the x axis which is it's intercept is at -2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah hehe it wasnt d
