Solve and describe the steps you took to solve: 1/3 n+1/4>4/7 (By the way these are fractions)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1/3n +1/4>4/7 1/3n + 7/28>16/28 -7/28 1/3n>9/28 * 3 n>27/28 Do you need an explanation of the steps?

Yes I do, and thanks soooo much. :)

1/3n +1/4>4/7 make the constants have the same denominator. that would be multiplying 1/4 by 7 on the top and the bottom, and multiplying the 4/7 by 4 on the top and the bottom. 1/3n + 7/28>16/28 subtract the 7/28 on both sides, to get the 1/3n alone on one side. -7/28 1/3n>9/28 multiply by the reciprocal of 1/3, 3/1 n>27/28
