Okay... So you know these kind of tables? VVVV X| 1 | 2 | 5 | 10 | 20| Y| ? | ? | ? | ? | ? | ? | The equation is Y= 4x+3 PLEASE HELP!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@stormgirl47 do you know this? youre kind of just like my go-to source when i need help on stuff lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well its an input table

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok... how do i do it though?what do i do for Y? if u know it im asking you to teach me....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just multiply every x value by 4 and then add 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so for 1, y would equal 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1x4 is 4, and 4 + 3 is 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mhmm anytime :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok what about this one VVVVVVVV

OpenStudy (anonymous):

K| 1 | 2 | 5 | 10 | 20 | M|??????????????????????? Equation: m=100-k

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k = 1 m = 99 k = 2 m= 98 k = 5 m = 95 and so on..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so wait.... how would you know what symbol to use? like for the first one how was it mutiplication?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry if these are dumb questions.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

m = 100 - k, so sub the k values into the k and just do the math, what is 100 - 1, 100 - 2, 100 - 5 and so forth

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok... and last one. T| 1 2 5 10 20 D| 1 2 5 10 20 Equation: 3.5t

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whoops im an idiot... the things for D should just be question marks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiply each T value by 3.5 to get your answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1 = 3.5 2 = 7 5 = 17.5 and so on
