How did President Roosevelt respond to the 1902 coal miners' strike in pennsylvania

Roosevelt ended the Coal Strike of 1902 through a mediation which was intervened by the Federal Government. The mediation gave workers 10% increase from their wages and their number of work hours were decreased to just nine hours. The strike ended in the 20th of October in 1902.
